Alexandra Blanchard
Volunteer Coordinator
Alexandra is a qualified educator with more than 7 years of experience working with young learners both here in Montréal and abroad. She holds a BA in Child Studies from Concordia University with a specialization in Working with Children with Exceptionalities. Her experience working with young children, students with special needs and English as a second language learners is an asset to the minibiblioPLUS program. Alexandra’s goal is to make reading accessible and fun for all learners. Inclusive education has always been a focus in her classrooms and has been the driving force behind her student-centred teaching philosophy. Her favourite book is Norton Juster’s The Phantom Tollbooth and her favourite colour is turquoise.
